NARAYANGADH: The body of a male American national who went missing from February 13 after falling into Trishuli River, has been found on Friday morning.
The body has been identified as that of Meredith Shaebanyan which was floating in the river in Dahakhani VDC-6, Chitwan, 13 days after he went missing after the incident. The police found the body after locals reported having spotted it in the river.
Extensive search operations had been launched in the area after Shaebanyan failed to return after a bathroom break enroute from Lumbini to Kathmandu while travelling with friends. It is now assumed that he slipped and fell into the river.
